Paleo-Friendly Meals: Shrimp Stock

Hello, hello! So here is another no-waste recipe. Remember that shrimp ramen we made last week? Here is my recipe using all of the shrimp shells. Not only is this stock flavorful, but the aroma is absolutely intoxicating. Read on for the recipe! DSCF1394Gather your no-waste ingredients: shrimp shells, celery trimmings, mushroom trimmings, onion, garlic, and carrots.
DSCF1395The flavor squad includes: bay leaf, dried thyme, black pepper, and parsley stems.
DSCF1397Throw everyone in the pot…
DSCF1399and cover to the top with water. Not let everything hang out in there for about 90 minutes of boiling goodness. This will reduce to about 2-3 cups of stock. Go ahead, relish the fact that you’ve turned would-be waste into something aromatic and delicious!

Thank you for stopping by and aloha!
