Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 dates
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Core and peel the apples. Slice in quarters.
  2. Add the remainder of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate before serving.
  4. Enjoy!

Gardening – Progress so far!

Happy Wednesday! If you follow my Facebook or Twitter feed, you know that I am all about positivity and feeling good! Nothing makes me feel better than cooking tasty food with fresh ingredients! And what’s the best way to get the freshest ingredients? Grow them yourself! I started container gardening last spring and it brought me such unexpected joy! My lola and lolo (Tagalog – grandma and grandpa) always kept a garden when I was young and I was never into it. It’s for old people. It’s so stupid, just go to the store. WRONG. Paleo-Friendly Meals: Buffalo Chicken Thighs

Happy Wednesday! Today, I have a recipe sure to please any buffalo chicken fan. Since going Paleo, there’s one thing I crave and rarely eat on cheat days – buffalo wings! Arguably, real buffalo chicken wings are Paleo – assuming they are not breaded before frying. Boneless buffalo wings from Applebee’s was my guilty pleasure and the real deal chicken wing doesn’t come close. Something about the crispiness of the breading mixed with the thick sauce makes my mouth water. So to supplement my crunchy-saucy cravings, I came up with these buffalo chicken thighs!
