Today’s post will be short and sweet. I’m not sure if you’ve seen or heard about this story, but it broke my heart. His twin sister is teased in school. He selflessly asks Santa to make his sister happy in exchange for his Christmas wish list. How many of you would do that?
My challenge for the day is to be kind to each other. Have gratitude. Show appreciation. Be nice. Pay a compliment. Practice Aloha. Please. Do it for this little girl. Do it for all the kids who are teased everyday, those who feel like they aren’t good enough, the ones who struggle with being different, those shunned from society, discriminated against, hated. Do it for yourself.
Hello, hello and welcome to the work week! I apologize for my hiatus, but I have been dealing with a lot of things, mainly how to handle stress and juggle about a million tasks at once. I know, welcome to life – no need to complain because I am preaching to the choir. I also just picked up a second job, but I’ll get to that in another post. Happy Monday and more importantly happy Labor Day! To those of you who have to work, I’m sorry. I had those jobs before and frankly, it sucks. Even though I am just hanging around the house today, I am keeping busy by flexing my domestic goddess muscles and prepping lunches for the rest of the week. I usually scour the interwebs to find my next Paleo lunch idea and the following image always inspires awe.
