At 27, I Still Want to Go Back to School Shopping!

Between the ages of 5-25, I participated in the annual back to school shopping craze. That’s two decades of my life! Though this is my second year out of school, my love for back to school shopping is as strong as ever! The trouble is, I really don’t have a need for these things. But, where there’s a will there’s a way!
20130723_021816_back_to_schoolThe funny thing about the ending of summer is that we all go through that back to school phase – either we are of the age where we are going back to school, we have kids going back to school, or we are childless adults mourning the end of summer and getting ready to get back into working full weeks again. Nevertheless, we all know that those commercials and fliers get us in the mood to be productive and (most importantly to businesses) buy things to aid in our productivity! I often find myself browsing the school aisles picking up matching notebooks and pens, thinking about how organized I am going to be this fall. I know it’s all in my head, just like New Year’s resolutions, but it’s such a learned experience that I just can’t help myself. So here is a list, in no particular order, of the things I need/want/probably  shouldn’t buy during my back to school fever:














Okay, I have to stop this madness now or I am going to get myself in a lot of trouble the next time I’m at Target. Aloha and happy back to school!
